and because we are already talking
about meeting people, making friendships and finding family in places
you would have never expected to find them, I want to thank one of
the best persons, I have met during my time here in NZ. My lovely
roommate, friend, almost sister – Peggy.
I am soooo grateful I got to meet you
here in FJ and spent so much time with you! I know that most people
won't ever understand, but our time will be forever in my heart.
Every single lesson, going stargazing, watching glowworms, painting
on the wall, cooking in OUR kitchen, eating at your favourite table,
working together, going to your check-out counter, having dinner at
King Tiger, having a drink at Monsoon, learning Chinese, saying
goodnight, hiding from the sun, walking to the Glacier or through the
rainforest. Thank you for being the craziest and therefore best
person I have met here.
You have no idea how much I miss you – and
I never thought I could miss someone I almost just met so much. Thank
you, Peggy. I will definitely see you again one day. Germany, China,
Franz Josef. I'm looking forward to it!
